XANT Begins Global Expansion With UK Sales Offices

It has been five months since XANT went international and expanded its operations with two new sales offices in the UK.

XANT UK

Crossing the pond is XANT’s first step toward bringing our sales acceleration technology to EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

“The UK is one of the fastest growing economies in the G7. I think there’s more talent there than people realize,” said Dave Elkington, CEO and founder of XANT. “We’ve established our European headquarters in the UK as a stepping point into the rest of Europe.”

While growing business in the UK is the immediate focus of our international efforts, our sales offices in London and Reading also own almost every territory outside of North America, prospecting into places as far away as New Zealand.

XANT sees the UK and EMEA as a significant opportunity for business growth.

People in the UK work longer hours than almost anywhere in Europe. XANT is looking to build on that work ethic, offering our sales acceleration technology to ensure salespeople are not just working harder, but smarter.

So what have XANT’s UK sales offices been up to these past five months?

Well for starters, we didn’t waste any time in hiring the ideal leadership team to drive this expansion.

Lindsey Armstrong

SVP International Strategy

Lindsey ArmstrongIn previous roles, Lindsey built growth engines in EMEA, as well as Latin America and Asia-Pacific. Over her career, she has driven substantial growth in international revenues.

Lindsey is working with Jim Steele, XANT president of worldwide sales and chief customer officer, to further XANT’s business opportunities in international markets.

Martin Moran

GM and SVP of EMEA

Martin MoranMartin Moran brings more than 25 years of experience in managing and growing business operations across a variety of industries in Europe and globally.

Martin helped drive the success of salesforce.com in EMEA, leading all customer-facing functions.

He is responsible for leading XANT’s regional growth in EMEA. He will play a key role in helping to accelerate sales for Europe’s leading companies.

I spoke with Martin to get his thoughts on how things were progressing.

Martin said there are about 20 employees in our Reading sales office.

This includes four transplant employees from XANT headquarters in Utah, who are helping us build our teams and processes.

They are:

Ian Lawson: Manager, Sales Engineering
Trevor Whiting: Manager, SMB Sales
Philip Wensel: Manager, Business Development
Skyler Williams: Manager, Client Services

XANT started signing up UK customers in July, and we are currently offering PowerDialer, PowerStandings, Sales Indicator, Vision and C9. We are also quickly working toward having our Neuralytics engine ready for international markets.

XANT is making waves because many UK businesses are looking for prescriptive and predictive technologies to help them grow faster.

Our involvement with the Salesforce World Tour in May helped generate a lot of early buzz, and we are excited to continue to build on this momentum.

We’ve even generated a lot of interest as far away as Scandinavia, Germany, France and Holland.

“The UK is one of the fastest growing economies, but productivity is still lagging,” Martin said. “XANT’s sales acceleration technology will help drive productivity and help increase growth in the UK.”

XANT has hit the ground running in the UK. The future looks bright, indeed.
