XANT Announces Europe’s 1st Annual Salesforce Response Awards
LONDON, UK – May 19, 2015 XANT XANT, the leading cloud-based sales acceleration technology company, today announced the 1st Annual Salesforce ResponseAwards in Europe, which recognise the companies that respond the fastest to web leads. XANT will present its coveted ResponseAwards to the Top 3 companies at the Salesforce World Tour in London on May 21, 2015, based on its assessment of the 3,000 companies attending the event. For the first time, European companies will be able to see how they stack up against previous ResponseAward recipients in North America, such as Symantec, which took first place in the Dreamforce ResponseAwards in 2011 by responding to leads in 51 seconds. In 2009, Hilton Grand Vacations won the ResponseAwards by responding in 37 seconds. “The top sales organisations understand the value of immediate response,” said Dave Elkington, CEO of XANT. “As companies across the globe ramp up their investments in data-driven sales teams, we’re excited to share our groundbreaking research and best practices with the sales leaders of Europe.” In conjunction with Harvard Business Review and other respected institutions, Dr. James Oldroyd conducted landmark research that revealed the power of immediacy and persistency. A web lead is 100 times more likely to be contacted and 21 times more likely to enter the sales cycle if you call back within five minutes, Dr. Oldroyd found Sales reps only make 1.3 phone calls per lead on average before giving up. By calling each lead once, a sales team wrings 37 percent of the value from its leads. Ideally, sales reps should be making six calls on each lead, Dr. Oldroyd’s research showed. With six calls, a sales team extracts 90 percent of the value from its leads. The XANT PowerDialer™ with patented immediate response technology enables sales reps to respond within seconds to a completed web form. PowerDialer also allows reps to place up to 8 times as many calls in a single day as traditional dialer technologies, which means sales teams can call deeper into their leads, generating more conversations, opportunities and deals with persistent follow-up. “This is the first time that XANT has used its proprietary ResponseAuditTM methodology to measure sales team response times in Europe,” said Lindsey Armstrong, senior vice president of international strategy at XANT. “These reports will uncover blind spots in many organisations’ sales processes and show them exactly how they can improve to accelerate revenue growth.” Salesforce World Tour attendees can pick up their complimentary ResponseAudit reports at the XANT booth on the show floor of the ICC at ExCeL London on May 21.
